Who would have thought life would look like this? 2020 was meant to be our year. The year we were going to discover our passions or travel the world. Instead, life has thrown us a major curveball and we are all adjusting to our new reality. Some of us are adapting to working at home, or not being able to work at all. We are all being challenged right now, but it is important to stay united and work together to overcome this pandemic.
If you are able to please consider assisting these organizations:

Feeding America: Feeding America prioritizes in serving the communities and individuals facing hunger during this time of uncertainty. With school closures, job disruptions and health risks millions of Americans will turn to food banks for support. They can’t do it alone, help here: https://www.feedingamerica.org/take-action/coronavirus?s_onsite_promo=lightbox

World Health Organization: this organization is leading and coordinating the global effort’s to support countries to prevent, detect, and respond to the pandemic. Donations support WHO’s work to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies. https://covid19responsefund.org/

GetUsPPE: Donate to help get critical personal protective equipment (PPE) to frontline workers and volunteers. https://getusppe.org/

Feed the Frontlines NYC: It has been reported that New York City is the epicenter of the virus in the United States. New York’s healthcare workers are working nonstop to help patients affected by the pandemic. By purchasing meals through Feed the Frontlines NYC, you will help fuel the efforts of the city’s healthcare workers while also supporting local restaurants and their employees. https://www.feedthefrontlinesnyc.org/
Other ways in which you can help during this time:
Be Kind: kindness is the most important thing to show during this time of uncertainty. Everyone is struggling in some way or another and we can often forget to be kind when we are faced with anxiety or challenges. Please thank your grocery store workers, delivery drivers and frontline workers.
Be Grateful: Like I said, many of us our struggling right now but it is important to be grateful for what you have and don’t focus on what you don’t.
Stay Home: This is maybe the most important thing you can do right now. By staying home you can assist frontline workers by not spreading the virus and overwhelming the hospitals.

Our world is strong and we will get through this. Take some time to help those in need, always be kind and wash your hands!
