If Not Now, When?

It is important to leave the world better than you found it. It’s a phrase we hear often, but how many of you have actually done that? I’m not here to shame you. I’ll admit, I haven’t been the best advocate for our world either. Sure, I don’t litter, I use a reusable water bottle and try not to waste paper. But in the spirit of finding my glow, I want to look for more opportunities to make this world better. And I think I found it. It is important to understand that everyone is doing the best with what they have. But everyone needs a little help now and then. Be empathic. Go out of your way to make people’s lives easier. Take a look at these opportunities that will allow you to make a difference.

The Australian Brush Fires
Australia needs our help! We’ve all seen the photos and news coverage. The Australian Brush Fires span a width larger than 113 countries combined. More than 480 million animals have died so far, including 1/3 of koala population. Over 2,000 homes have been destroyed. There are ways you can step up and help. If you can’t spend your time, spend your money. I’m not talking about donating an arm and a leg here. Think of it this way. Skip the drive thru this week. Make coffee at home, instead of stopping at Starbucks one morning. The money you save can be put toward something good.
